IMDOS Endorsement
SPASS was officially endorsed by the Integrated Marine Debris Observing System (IMDOS) through the support of Dr. Giuseppe Suaria, who is a member of both IMDOS and SPASS. IMDOS is a global coordination body launched to standardize marine debris monitoring and support the Global Plastics Treaty. It operates with official endorsement from the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) GPML.
